Account and Purchase Information

When you purchase QwintTalk services, QwintSoft LLP collects your name, email address, and payment information on our behalf. We receive and store limited transaction details required to activate your license.

License Activation Data

We store your license key, activation status, machine identifiers (hashed), and usage events to validate your license and track product consumption.

Audio Processing Data

When you generate captions, audio segments may be processed temporarily by AI transcription services for processing. These audio segments are not stored beyond the duration required to complete transcription.

Analytics Data

We collect anonymous usage metrics (e.g., feature used, caption generation, plugin version) to improve the software. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

How We Use Your Information

• Deliver the license key and activation instructions to your email
• Validate your license and manage your credit balance
• Process AI transcription requests
• Send important product updates or security notices (not marketing spam)
• Improve the software and fix bugs
• Comply with legal obligations

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We share data only with:

• Razorpay — secure payment processing
• OpenAI / Whisper APIs — AI transcription and caption generation
• Email service providers — for transactional emails
• Legal authorities — when required by law

Data Retention

We retain your account and license data for the duration of your license plus three years for legal and accounting purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time. Audio content processed during transcription is not retained.

• TLS encryption for data in transit
• Secure hashing for machine identifiers
• Secure storage of license data

Payments are handled directly by Razorpay and follow PCI DSS security standards.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies required for functionality such as session management. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect site functionality.
